CNY 2008

To our regular volunteers….. Thank you for lending your great support and let out your energy, love and contribution to another successful event. I wished I had done more to thank the sponsors, donors and volunteers who extended their precious time and effort prior to the event. I sincerely encourage you to join me to pen your thoughts in this blog. The blog belongs to all you volunteers and is hungry for your contribution…

To our adhoc volunteers…. Many thanks for choosing to volunteer your previous afternoon at the Home. I hope you had an enjoyable volunteering experience and please try and join us again on any other Saturdays and future events because your warmth and love for the elderly are appreciated and that you make a difference in their lives!! And if you also enjoy our company, this gives you more reasons to come back and join us…J

REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR FACES ON THE PHOTO ALBUM!

Cheers, Catherine

Please allow me to quote this:

Let us not be satisfied with just giving money.
Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them.
So, spread your love everywhere you go.

    Yan Quan here.
to share my personal reflections on the CNY celebration=D

this is the first time that i have taken part in an annual celebration in the home itself.
i enjoyed it… it\’s kindda rowdy but really 有气氛.
so it was really happy with everyone packed in the hall area.

seriously, xiaoyou and i dun really deserve much credits for the running of the games.
    jane was basically conducting everything=D
    oh well.

i think this event left me a pretty good impression of adults.
    that they are nice.
you guys really put in lots and lots of effort to make the event successful.

in school, it\’s like everything we worked for is reflected in our marks,
it is all about ourselves and everything.

    but over here at brighthill,
people like catherine really put in a lot of effort to ensure the smooth running of the event,
out of pure initiative and willingness.
all the people doing their parts…
    it\’s kindda sweet, eh?

    hahas.
okay, i dunno what is the objective of this whole chunk of words.

but, Chinese New Year songs are nice… =DDD

    dunno-wad-to-sign-off-as,
    Yan Quan=D
